Peterborough’s Great Eastern Run is taking place again on Sunday 12 October. Run, walk or skip round the 5K Fun Run or take part in the Half Marathon. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for a challenge as well as raising funds for Light Project Peterborough. You can take part on your own, with friends and family, or maybe participate in a group with work colleagues.
Last year, we raised over £11,000 (including Gift Aid) which was incredible but we’re aiming higher for 2025. Please help us to achieve our fundraising target of £15,000!
1 – To begin with, you need to reserve a charity place by visiting our Eventbrite page. Complete your details and pay the subsidised fee to claim a charity place with us (£10). Places would normally cost £18.90 for 5km and £39 for half marathon.
Sign up for a charity place2 – You will then receive an email from us with your unique single use race discount code.
3 – Go to the Great Eastern Run website to register your official running place.
4 – During checkout, there should be a ‘voucher discount’ field. Add the code which was sent to you and the entry fee will be removed.
5 – You’re then all signed up!
