The Garden House

We run a multi-agency drop-in centre called The Garden House; Peterborough’s central hub where people who are rough sleeping can access information, advice, and support five days a week.

We are open Monday-Friday, 10:00-12:30, 13:30-16:30 (Wednesday afternoons closed for Operation Luscombe and training)

Accommodation Support

Light Project Peterborough has been active in providing accommodation and support since 2015, for example, night shelters with churches, part of the the government’s ‘Everyone In’ initiative, and leading teams to support people in their new homes/in the community.

City Centre Chaplaincy

Our City Centre Chaplaincy volunteers can be seen in and around Peterborough city centre engaging with the public through various innovative activities, while sharing the love of God and their faith. Due to the pandemic, many activities have had to drastically change. There is much more need; at present we are reviving how we can do more to help people on our streets.
