The Garden House offers information, advice and support to the rough sleepers in Peterborough 6 days a week. Our guests can receive much-needed support from housing officers, GPs, drug and alcohol specialists, chiropodist, hairdressers and other professionals that run sessions at The Garden House for rough sleepers in Peterborough.
The Winter Night Shelter project runs through the coldest months of the year, offering homeless guests a bed and shelter for the night, a warm dinner, washing facilities and breakfast. The shelters are hosted by churches in Peterborough with the 2018/19 winter season seeing 12 venues working together supported by over 200 volunteers.
Our City Centre Chaplaincy volunteers can be seen in and around Peterborough city centre engaging with the public through various innovative activities, while sharing the love of God and their faith. They may be spotted offering prayer and support in local pubs, offering free hugs or gifts of water and fruit in Cathedral Square
