Lead Project Worker vacancy
Purpose of Post
To provide practical, person-centred support to people experiencing homelessness, vulnerability or disadvantage at the Garden House and in community settings, including visits to people in their accommodation.
The right candidate will also provide high-quality frontline support while giving day to day operational leadership, guidance and coordination to Project Workers and volunteers.
The postholder will help ensure that services are safe, consistent, welcoming and responsive. This is a predominantly frontline role.
Working as part of a flexible frontline team, the postholder will help people address immediate needs, access appropriate services and move towards greater stability, resilience and independence.
Based at: The Garden House, Gravel Walk, Minster Precincts, Peterborough, PE1 1YU, with work in community settings across Peterborough.
Reports to: Services Manager.
Hours: 37.5 hours a week.
Annual Leave: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. Employee benefits include free parking. NEST pension scheme, enhanced maternity leave and well-being and counselling support.
Salary: £29,000 per annum.
