The Garden House Project
This is a daytime centre for the rough sleepers of Peterborough. It offers information, advice and support to guests from volunteers of the project but also local professionals including alcohol and drug specialists, housing officers, council workers, recruitment specialists, GPs and more.

City Centre Chaplaincy
This is another project under the Light Project Peterborough umbrella, and the project that started Light Project Peterborough. This Christian project in Peterborough needs volunteers to engage with the general public through various innovative ideas. These activities includes things such as chatting to people in pubs, offering hugs to strangers or just listening to people.

Peterborough Winter Night Shelter
In recent years we have had over 200 volunteers involved in this Christian project in Peterborough, which runs through the coldest months of the year. These volunteers are required to give their time from November until March, for as much or as little time as they would like to give.
We need churches to give their space to us for the guests to stay, but we also need volunteers to welcome and care for our guests during the Winter Night Shelter months. If you would like to know more please click here.
