A Night in the Nave Sleep Out 2026

On Thursday 19th March 2026, A Night in the Nave sleep out took place at Peterborough Cathedral. 84 people spent the night either inside the Cathedral Nave or outside in the Cloister Courtyard. This was to gain a glimpse into homelessness as well as to raise money for LPP. Over £30,000 was raised with GiftAid included.

St Botolph’s Ukulele Band played an hour of music which was followed by a quiz focused on homelessness, LPP, Peterborough Cathedral and the city of Peterborough. There was a prize draw for those who had raised £250 or more before the event. Thank you to everyone who took part, donated and sponsored the event including Taylor Wimpey, Alison Homes, Bennetts Motorbike Insurance, Compare the Market, Country Court Care, CWU Eastern Branch No5, DALROD Peterborough, David Wilson Homes, Kingsley Beverages, McIntyre Compliance Services, and SystemSeed.
